Child Protection

FSDA’s child protection programming in South Sudan focuses on safeguarding children from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and violence while promoting their rights and well-being. It establishes community‑based child protection committees, raises awareness among parents, teachers, and faith leaders, and creates safe spaces for children to access psychosocial support, education, and recreation. F

SDA works to prevent child marriage and child labor through advocacy and dialogue, supports survivors with referral pathways, and empowers youth with life skills and vocational opportunities. FSDA collaborates with the government at national and sub-national levels, civil society, and international partners to strengthen child protection systems and accountability, helping create safer environments and promoting the holistic development of children.
